Sitia – Faneromeni – Liopetro – Chamezi – Kimourgiotis – Piskokefalo – Petras – Sitia
The georoute begins from the city of Sitia, drives to the monastery of Panagia Faneromeni, passes from the minoan hamlet of Papadiokambos and reaches the Venetian fort of Liopetro. After wandering around the fort area, we continue to the settlement of Chamezi, where we visit an interesting folklore museum and then head to the Minoan mansion. Then, through Kimourgiotis, we drive to Piskokefalo, the mother place of the Cretan poet Vitsentzos Kornaros, and we end up to Sitia passing through the settlement of Petras.
